The petitioner seeks bail in Excise Case No. 162 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 37b), 30(a) and 30(d) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged in the written report that informant received information that in village Chare near Tati, three persons including petitioner are manufacturing and selling illicit country made liqour. The informant along with other Police personnel reached the village. On seeing the Police party the accused persons managed to run away. Out of them, one was apprehended. The Police made search and recovered 50 litres of country made liquor and utensils for preparing

Counsel for the petitioner submits that name of petitioner has come merely on suspicion. He is in custody since 21.5.2019.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned IInd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura, in connection with Excise Case No. 162 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner.
