2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No. 31 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with others is said to have tortured and killed the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the sister-in-law (gotani) of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation against her. The petitioner is in custody since 25.01.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40203 of 2025(2) dt.09-07-2025 2/2 prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No. 31 of 2025.
