The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 376/511/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
According to first information report, the petitioner allegedly attempted to ravish to the wife of the informant by committing house trespass whereas wife of the informant stated that she had gone to attend the call of nature and there the petitioner attempted to ravish her. However, she made alarm and petitioner fled away.
At the time of occurrence the petitioner was in drunken condition. The petitioner is in custody since
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38394 of 2020(3) dt.22-03-2021 2/2 04.07.2020. Investigation of the case is already complete. Considering the entire facts aforesaid as well as completion of investigation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Sono (Charkapathar) P.S. Case No.162 of 2020, with following conditions:
(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.
(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
