2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Basnahi P.S. Case No. 174 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 304(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of snatching Rs. 15,000/- from the victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that the petitioner is ready to make good the loss of the informant and ready to pay Rs. 15,000/- to the informant. The petitioner is in custody since 30.11.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has

6. Considering the period of custody as well as the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-IV, Saharsa/concerned Court below in connection with Basnahi P.S. Case No. 174 of 2024 subject to conditions that:- (i). At the time of furnishing bail bonds, the petitioner will bring a demand draft of Rs. 15,000/- in favour of the informant. If the petitioner brings the demand draft then his bail bonds shall be accepted and the demand draft shall be released in favour of the informant by the concerned Court below.

(ii). The petitioner will mark his attendance at the Gwalpara Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.
