JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-11-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 307, 379, 504, 506, 341 and 342 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against petitioner is that he snatched a silver chain worth Rs.30,000/- from the neck of informant while the other accused persons assaulted husband of informant on his head. It has been submitted on behalf of petitioner that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 14.7.2016. Chargesheet has been submitted against petitioner. No allegation of tampering of witnesses is alleged against petitioner. General and omnibus allegation has been made. No specific injury has been attributed against petitioner. The main allegation has been made against co-accused, namely, Md. Kajim.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond

Patna High Court Cr.Misc.
