====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-03-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he ravished to the daughter of the informant. The victim has supported the aforesaid allegation in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. The petitioner is in custody since 30.05.2020. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prosecution allegation is not corroborated by the medical evidence.

Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 52 of 2020 pending in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37849 of 2020(3) dt.09-03-2021 2/2 Court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah.

Hence, prayer for bail is refused.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the case.
