JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 18-04-2016 Heard Sri Bal Bhushan Chaudhary, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Bhaskar Shankar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent/ Magadh University, Bodh Gaya.
The petitioner, invoking writ jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, has prayed for directing the Respondents to pay differential amount of salary on account of 5th Pay Commission from January 1996 till the date of his retirement. The petitioner has also made a prayer for arrears of two increments on account of holding Ph.D. Degree.
Patna High Court CWJC No.8316 of 2011 (7) dt.18-04-2016 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner, in view of facts disclosed in the counter affidavit that arrears of salary including salary difference in revised pay scale on account of 5th Pay Commission has already been paid, makes a prayer for disposal of the writ petition with an indication that if the petitioner feels aggrieved regarding second claim, he may approach the authority concerned.
The prayer is allowed.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
