The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Derni P.S. Case No.54 of 2015 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 313, 324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra. The accusation is that the petitioner along with 12 others in course of measurement of the land started to "Maar-Peet" with the informant and in that course, this petitioner gave a knife blow causing injury at the belly and left chest of the informant. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43514 of 2015 (2) dt.14-10-2015 2/2 inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. However, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial court within six weeks from today and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
