Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 I.P.C. and 27 of the Arms Act.

According to FIR, co-accused-Sonu Kumar Mandal and Sharudhan Mandal fired and caused injury at the head of the father of the informant and the petitioner fired causing injury at the left side of Panjara. The Doctor has found two lacerations on the left parietal scalp. One oblique laceration on the middle part of the left iliac bone which is a region in the lower part of the body. Besides a lacerated wound at the right angle of the jaw. All were caused by firearm. Petitioner is in custody since 20.02.2020.

No.38590 of 2020(3) dt.10-03-2021 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation which is corroborated by medical evidence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present in connection with Morkahi P.S.Case No.06 of 2020 pending in the court of learned S.DJ.M., Khagaria. Hence, prayer is refused.

The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.

If the trial would not conclude within nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, petitioner may renew prayer.
