Petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 520 of 2019 arising out of Kursa Kanta (Sonamani Godown) P.S. Case No. 96/19 for the offence under section 30(a) of Bihar Excise Prohibition Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel submits that in the instant case total 30 liters of nepali wine was seized from the possession of the petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 7.4.2019. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41980 of 2019(3) dt.20-09-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Special Case No. 520 of 2019 arising out of Kursakanta (Sonamani Godown) P.S. Case No. 96 of 2019.
