In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 206 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 47(a) and 57(A) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.
As per allegation made in the First Information Report, the Police, while on patrolling duty, received information that two persons including the present petitioner are standing with two bags containing foreign liquor in the tempo stand whereupon they were intercepted, from their possession illegal foreign liquors were recovered. The petitioner is judicial custody since 18.08.2016.
Looking to the period of custody of the petitioner as
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46376 of 2016 (3) dt.09-11-2016 also the entire facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Shekhar Kumar, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 206 of 2016.
