The petitioners seek bail in a case registered under Sections 47/57 of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016. It is contended that petitioners were apprehended merely on the basis of suspicion that they have consumed liquor but no liquor has been recovered or seized from their possession. It is further contended that the alleged 14 liters of country made mahua liquor has been seized from the house of Sugo Sada. It is also claimed that the petitioners are having clean antecedent. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the above named petitioners are directed to be released on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42653 of 2016 (2) dt.04-10-2016 2 / 2 bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M., Lakhisarai in connection with Piri Bazar P.S. Case No.76/16 with a condition that one of the bailors of the petitioners must be the close relative or their family member, who will file affidavit before the court below giving full genealogy showing his or her relationship with the petitioners.
