JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-09-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 25.6.2016 in a case registered under Sections 341,323 and498A/34, of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demands.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner admits his marriage with the informant. It is further submitted that on the basis of compromise petition the petitioner was granted provisional bail but the issue could not be resolved due to apathetic attitude of the informant. More over, the investigation has already concluded.
