The present petition has been filed with a prayer to restore Cr.Misc.No.31187 of 2012, which stood dismissed on 09.05.2014 due to non-prosecution.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the delay in filing the restoration petition has occurred due to the reason that the quashing application was filed in the year 2012 and, as such, he had lost track of the case. Recently he noticed that the quashing application stood dismissed due to non-prosecution. The reason assigned in the present petition is sufficient to persuade the Court for allowing the petition. Accordingly, restoration petition is allowed.
