The petitioners are in custody in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.57 of 2020 arising out of Kanti P.S. Case No.386 of 2020, for the offence under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)C and 22(c) of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent. He further submits that in the instant case total 2 Kg Ganja was recovered from Jhola. The seized contraband is not for commercial use. Petitioners are in custody since 08.07.2020.

No.154 of 2021(2) dt.20-02-2021 2/2 Considering the fact that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 08.07.2020, the Court is inclined to grant bail to them. The petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 4th Additional Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.57 of 2020 arising out of Kanti P.S. Case No.386 of 2020.
