In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Barbigha P.S. Case No. 97 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 30 A of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The police has recovered 45 litres of illegal liquor from a dickey of XUV car and arrested one Rahul Paswan who disclosed the name of this petitioner.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail before the court below within a period of three weeks from today, the court below without being prejudiced by
