JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-07-2022 The limited prayer of the petitioner is to direct the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose of the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license, which though was rejected by an order dated 5.8.2006, however, by an order dated 26.4.2016 passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Patna in Arms Appeal No. 140 of 2015, the case of the petitioner for grant of arms license was remanded back to the District Magistrate, Patna for fresh adjudication but the same is still pending consideration.

Patna High Court CWJC No.1530 of 2021(2) dt.22-07-2022 2/2 The learned counsel for the RespondentState submits that the case of the petitioner for grant of arms license shall definitely be considered by the District Magistrate, Patna and appropriate orders shall be passed within a stipulated time frame.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose of the case of the petitioner for grant of arms license, if not already disposed of, within a period of twelve weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
