The petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of regular bail in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case no. 677 of 2019 registered under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per allegation in the F.I.R., it is stated by the informant that three accused persons came on a Honda motorcycle and looted Rs.10,000/- and a mobile phone from the informant.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. His name transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused Munna Kumar Rai made before the police and the said Munna Kumar
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38224 of 2020(2) dt.05-02-2021 2/2 Rai has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 5.6.2020 (Annexure-2) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 4478 of 2020. The petitioner has not been put on T.I. Parade.
The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties, in view of the grant of bail to the co-accused and the petitioner not having been put on T.I. Parade, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case no. 677 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chapra.
