JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 10-01-2018 Heard Mr. Bikramdeo Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and Mr. Rohit Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the informant.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with Naubatpur P.S.Case No. 505/2014 for the offences punishable under sections 302/34 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the deceased alongwith another accused which had led to his death. The earlier attempt of the petitioner for bail in Cr.Misc.Nos. 58212/2015 and 43252/2016 was rejected by this Court. The prayer has been renewed with a complaint that the matter has yet not been committed but when the case is taken up Mr. Singh informs that the case has been committed to the court of Sessions a few months back.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41972 of 2017 (3) dt.10-01-2018 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of allegation as well as earlier orders, I am not persuaded to consider the petitioner's prayer for bail and the application is accordingly dismissed with an advice to the trial court to take steps for expeditious disposal of the trial.
