2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A, 341, 323, 494, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/ 4 of the D. P Act. 3 . As per the prosecution case , allegation against these petitioners is of commission of torture and harassment due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry .

4. Petitioner No. 1 is father-in-law and petitioner No. 2 is mother-in-law of the victim. They are separate in mess and property. There is no specific allegation against these petitioners

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46122 of 2024(2) dt.06-08-2024 2/2 and they have no concern with affairs of the couple. Thrust of accusation is against the husband of the victim. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.

5 . Learned counsel for the State opposes the bail petition .

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let these petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Buxar in connection with Nawanagar P . S. Case No . 117 of 2024 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure .
