The petitioner, being the husband of the informant, is languishing in jail since 21.04.2016 registered under Sections 498A, 307 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand and making attempt to strangulate the informant.

Considering the nature of accusation and investigation being concluded, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No. 14 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya.
