JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 20-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No.102 of 2017 registered under Sections 304B, 201, 120B and 34 of IPC as well as Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Allegation is that the accused persons after marriage used to make demand of further dowry from daughter of the informant and it is alleged that they killed her and disposed of her dead body.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is old father-in-law and it is he who informed the informant regarding the death of his daughter-in-law, the petitioner has been in custody since 18.03.2017 and there is no
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33971 of 2017 (2) dt.20-07-2017 2 / 2 specific allegation of making any demand of dowry against the petitioner.
Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-VI, Gaya in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No.102 of 2017.
