The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 30 and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is contended that, as per allegation, 204 litres of English wine were recovered from the house of the petitioner. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 22.05.2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 6th Additional District and Sessions Judge,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36120 of 2017(2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 Saran at Chapra in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 168 of 2017.
Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in similar nature of case then the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bond.
