Petitioner, husband of the deceased, is an accused in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code on the allegation that he along with other family members subjected the informant's daughter to cruelty for fetching dowry and finally they burnt her to death. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case as the petitioner died of accidental burn injury.

Petitioner is the husband of the deceased, the death has occurred within seven years of marriage and there is allegation against him, as such, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court to conclude the trial within twelve months, failing which the petitioner may pray for bail. Shashi.
