The petitioner seeks quashing of First Information Report of Khajauli P.S.Case NO. 18 of 2013 registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR, only later on his name has transpired.

The ground taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner is no ground for quashing the FIR of the present case. It is not that no offence is disclosed in the FIR. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.
