2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Sadar Muzaffarpur P.S. Case No. 741 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 103(1), 3(5) of the BNS, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution story, the deceased got married to co-accused, Chandan Kumar. Husband Chandan Kumar used to taunt the deceased on her educational qualification and tortured her. All the accused persons started demanding dowry of Rs. 5,00,000/-. It is further alleged that the daughter of the informant (the deceased) was strangulated to death.
4. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45700 of 2025(2) dt.21-08-2025 2/2 grand mother of the husband of the deceased having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. It is further submitted that the mother-in-law of the deceased has been granted privilege of anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 12.05.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 13531 of 2025 and fatherin-law of the deceased was petitioner no. 2 in Cr. Misc. No. 13531 of 2025 whose prayer for anticipatory bail was dismissed as withdrawn because he was murdered. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent.
5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances and the clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner, in the event of her arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in connection with Sadar Muzaffarpur P.S. Case No. 741 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the CrPC/482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
