Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR of the occurrence of demand of ransom on mobile call is against the holder of the referred mobile and others. Allegation against the petitioner is that he had issued the SIM card without proper verification of identity of the person to whom it was issued.

Submission is that the petitioner is not holder of the referred mobile. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Investigation of the case is already complete. Hence, let the petitioner, above named, be

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39009 of 2019(2) dt.26-06-2019 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Majhauliya Police Station Case No.109 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
