2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 1001 of 2024 registered under Sections 137(2), 87, 351(2) and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023.

3. Allegation against the petitioner is of abducting the sister of the informant with intent to compel her to marry with him.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that according to statement of the victim recorded under Section-183 of the BNSS, she is aged about 20 years. As a matter of fact, she had love and affection with the petitioner. Later on, she rendered

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40863 of 2025(4) dt.27-11-2025 2/2 her statement under Section 183 of BNSS under the pressure of her family members. The FIR has been registered after two months of the alleged occurrence.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Bettiah in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 1001 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
