2. The petitioner is in custody since 25.09.2015 in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No. 78 of 1995, G.R. No. 587 of 1995, Tr. No. 1211 of 2007 for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 307, 324, 326, 353 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated and the FIR is against unknown persons. Even though the FIR was instituted as far back as in the year 1995 the petitioner had no knowledge about the case pending against him.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusation, the criminal antecedents of the petitioner as well as his having been declared absconder in the year 1997 itself, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. The bail petition stands dismissed.
