ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 09-12-2025 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the Counsels.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for arms license on 22.01.2025 before the District Magistrate, Patna i.e. Respondent No. 2 herein but till date no decision has been taken by the authority. Learned counsel, therefore, prays for disposal of his application by fixing a time frame.

3. Having regard to the same, the present writ petition

Patna High Court CWJC No.10695 of 2025(2) dt.09-12-2025 2/2 is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 2 herein to dispose of the application made by the petitioner dated 22.01.2025 (Annexure P/1 series) as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. If any clarification is needed, the petitioner shall put put on notice and given an opportunity of clarifying the same. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

4. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of.
