2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in Nanpur P.S. Case No. 52 of 2024 initially registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and later on, Section-307 of the Indian Penal Code was also added.

3. According to allegation, while the informant was present in academic bloc of the college for his admission, the accused persons assaulted him. The accused persons are the students of 3rd semester and during course of ragging, they assaulted the informant and his colleague, Robins Kumar.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the specific allegfation of assault is against co-accused, Abhishek

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40166 of 2025(2) dt.20-08-2025 2/2 Kumar and Aditya Srivastava. So far as the allegation against the petitioner is concerned, it is general and omnibus. It has further been submitted that on similar footing, the co-accused Ashish Kumar has been granted anticipatory bail.

5. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No. 52 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) A.K.V.//- U T
