12.07.2016 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State.
The Petitioner seeks bail in S.Tr. No. 16 of 2016 arising out of Barauni (Chakiya) P.S. Case No. 103 of 2009 registered under Sections 376 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code pending before the 7th Additional Sessions Judge, Begusarai.
Considering that the trial is in progress, I am not inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner. The prayer for bail is rejected.
The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same without granting unnecessary adjournment to any party and for which reason he is directed to send a list of the witnesses fixing specific dates for production of the witnesses along with a copy of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26408 of 2016 (3) dt.12-07-2016 this order, to the Superintendent of Police, Begusarai, and the Superintendent of Police, Begusarai is directed to ensure production of the witnesses on the date so fixed by the Trial Court so that there is no further delay in trial.
