Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide order 25.02.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 32007 of 2020.

By order dated 05.01.2022 a report about the stage of trial has been called for from the court below which reveals that the case is running for prosecution evidence. Considering the nature of accusation, gravity of the offence and progress of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 05.03.2020, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
