ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 21-01-2016 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 8.5.2006 passed by the Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur in Criminal Appeal No.35 of 2006, by which he has upheld the conviction of the Petitioner and maintained the sentence of 3 years R.I. under Section 25(1-B)A of the Arms Act and fine of Rs.3000/- and 2 years R.I. under Section 26 of the Arms Act and fine of Rs.2000/-, in default of which simple imprisonment for another one month, passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Muzaffarpur in G.R. No.517 of 2005 (Trial No.1221 of 2006) by judgment dated 13.3.2006.

Having gone through the impugned judgment, I do not find any irregularity. However, considering the date of occurrence, the sentence is modified to the period already undergone by him.

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.656 of 2006 dt.21-01-2016 2/2 However, he is required to deposit the fine as directed by the Court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order, failing which he shall be sentenced to imprisonment as directed by the court below.

With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the revision application stands dismissed.
