2. The accused/petitioners are named in the FIR and apprehending their arrest in connection with Karza P.S. Case No.251 of 2025 registered under Sections 80 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (in short 'BNS').

3. As per FIR, the accused persons including petitioners caused death of daughter of informant due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry as raised for a cash of Rs. 2

4. It is submitted by learned counsel, Ms. Aditi Sharma, appearing on behalf of petitioners that all petitioners are in-laws and living separately. Explaining further, it is submitted that petitioner no. 1 and 2 are mother-in-law and father-in-law, wheres petitioner no. 3 and 4 are brother-in-law and sister-in-law of the deceased, who are residing at Orissa, having otherwise, no connection with daily and domestic affairs of the deceased and her husband. It is submitted that out of temperamental issue, the daughter of informant committed suicide which is apparent from the post-mortem report, where cause of death was ascertained as anti-mortem hanging, where no mark of physical violence was found upon her.

5. It is further argued that husband of petitioner is in judicial custody against whom, thrust of allegation is available. All these petitioners claimed clean antecedent.

6. In view of aforesaid factual submissions and by taking note of fact as the petitioners are in-laws, who

No.46475 of 2026(2) dt.29-07-2026 3/3 claimed to live separately, having no connection with daily and domestic affairs with the deceased and her husband, accordingly, all four above-named petitioners, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Karza P.S. Case No.251 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
