Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks.

The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of one case. The informant alleges that his sister was married with Vikki Singh @ Vikash Kumar on 21.01.2019 but after marriage the accused persons including the petitioner started demanding dowry of Rs.2,00,000/- and one bed and on non-fulfillment of dowry demand led to torture and on 05.11.2021, the informant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43918 of 2022(2) dt.12-09-2022 2/3 received an information that his sister has died. Accordingly, he reached the place of occurrence and saw the dead body of his sister.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the sister-in-law of the deceased and the husband of the deceased is in custody. Learned counsel further submits that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature. He next submits that the dispute was between the deceased and her husband in which the entire family members came to be implicated. He also submits that it is the duty of the husband to ensure that the wife live with full dignity and honor.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is
