Petitioner is languishing in custody since 02.04.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

Basic accusation is of torture after 25 years of marriage.

It is specifically alleged that on 22.03.2016 at 08 a.m., the petitioner came home and started assaulting the informant, when the daughter of the informant came to save her, he assaulted her too. There is no injury reported on the record, the informant is still residing in the house of the petitioner constructed on the land purchased in the name of the informant by the petitioner and he still wants to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26591 of 2016 (2) dt.28-06-2016 2/2 lead a harmonious life with his wife and further ready to keep her with full dignity and honour. A statement to that effect has been made in Para-11 of the petition, which reads as follows:- "That the petitioner wants to lead a harmonious and peaceful relation with his wife and is ready to keep her with dignity.

It is further submitted that now the informant is ready to accept the offer of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Bettiah in connection with Shikarpur P. S. Case No. 138 of 2016.
