Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 385, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case, in short, is that the petitioner abused the informand and demanded ransom of Rs.2,00,000/- for continuation of work, which was being executed by the informant.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 05.12.2018. There is no

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41083 of 2019(3) dt.11-09-2019 2/2 allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. General and omnibus allegation has been made. The main allegation is against co-accused, namely, Banti and Sanjay. Charge has already been framed in the present case. There is no chance of trial being concluded in near future. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge VIIth, Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad P.S. case No.719 of 2018.
