In the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing the notice bearing Memo No. 144 dated 21.04.2011 by which the special meeting of Nabi Nagar Panchayat had been convened on 28.04.2011 to discuss 'no confidence motion' against the petitioner, who was the Chairman of the Municipality. 3.

At the outset, it has been brought to the notice of this Court that the term for which the election for the post of Chairman had been held has already expired, and thus, the writ petition has become infructuous.

In view of the submission made above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
