ANSARI) 21-07-2015 Mr. Saurabh Kumar, learned Junior Counsel to Special Public Prosecutor Bhagalpur Communal Riot Cases, who is appearing on behalf of the prosecution, submits that the appellant (Mantoo Singh) has died.
None had appeared on behalf of the appellant. However, Mr. Suneil Kumar Thakur, learned counsel, who stands appointed as Amicus Curiae, is present.
In view of the statement made, on behalf of the State, as regards death of the sole appellant, Mantoo Singh, this appeal stands disposed of as having abated.
Taking into consideration the fact that Mr. Suneil Kumar Thakur, learned counsel, was appointed as Amicus Curiae
Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.139 of 2010 (9) dt.21-07-2015 2/2 and he has prepared the appeal for hearing, we direct the Registry to make payment of a fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand) to him.
