Mr. Lalit Kishore ( AG ) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE P. B. BAJANTHRI ORAL ORDER 17-01-2022 The matter is heard via video conferencing due to circumstances prevailing on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1342 of 2021(2) dt.17-01-2022 2/3 following reliefs :- (i) For issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to make appointment of the petitioners on the IVth grade post in the Government Offices under Bhagalpur, Collectorate within a scheduled time frame in pursuance to the advertisement published in one of the local daily newspaper "Hindustan" dated 2.12.2001 as also in terms of advertisement published in the month of December 2016 by considering the case of the petitioners in accordance with law.

(ii) For holding and declaration that petitioners are entitled to get their appointment on the post of 4th Grade employees in Bhagalpur Collectoriate as the others for the same footing have got their appointment by the order of this Hon'ble High Court passed in several writ applications in this regard.

(iii) And/or pass such other order or orders as deem fit and proper in the interest of justice. The petitioner has not furnished material information

Patna High Court CWJC No.1342 of 2021(2) dt.17-01-2022 3/3 like a select list so as to give direction to the respondents to consider the name of the petitioner for appointment to the post of 4th grade in the government office under Bhagalpur Collectorate pursuant to the advertisement dated 2.12.2021 read with December 2016 notification.

Question of issuance of direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner, he is required to furnish the final select list and point out that he has been selected and in absence of such material information, the petitioner is not entitled to seek relief in the present petition. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed. Reserving liberty to file fresh petition along with material information like his name is reflected in the final select list etc.
