JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 03-01-2018 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 21 of 2016, arising out of Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 266 of 2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 20, 22, 24 and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

From the possession of the petitioner, two kgs of Charas was recovered.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is in custody since 07.06.2016. For the recovery of aforesaid quantity of Charas, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. It has, however been submitted that the trial in this case is already in progress. Let the trial be expedited and be concluded

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47310 of 2016 (13) dt.03-01-2018 2/2 within a reasonable period of time.

The prayer for bail is accordingly rejected with the aforesaid observation.
