2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No. 241 of 2023 dated 30.10.2023 registered for the offence punishable u/ss 302, 201 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have committed the murder of the informant's sister and cremated her dead body.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 03.11.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner by submitting that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased who committed murder of the informant's sister.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the heinous nature of allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is rejected in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No. 241 of 2023 pending in the court of learned C.J.MVaishali at Hajipur.

7. The application stands rejected.
