The petitioner seeks bail in connection with G.R.P./ Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 18 of 2017 dated 16.03.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor anything has been recovered from his possession. The petitioner has been made accused in this case on the basis of a confessional statement of a co-accused. The allegation, in the F.I.R., is of committing theft of valuables and ornaments in a running train. The petitioner has been made accused in the past in several cases of similar nature, who, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, has been granted bail in all such cases. Taking into account the period of custody of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53288 of 2017 (3) dt.01-12-2017 2/2 petitioner which is from 04.07.2017, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

The petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (Rail), Kiul, Lakhisarai in connection with G.R.P./Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 18 of 2017.
