2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 419/420,467/468/471/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 66C/66D of the IT Act.
3. Acting on a tip off, police conducted a raid and apprehended two persons with mobile phones, cheat of paper containing address and other details of several persons. Apprehended accused persons disclosed name of this petitioner as their associate.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner's name has figured during course of investigation in confessional statement of co-accused. No incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42425 of 2023(2) dt.31-07-2023 2/2 for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif in Goriyak (Katarisarai) Police Station Case No. 96 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
