ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE ) 01-04-2016 Heard Mr. Sanjiv Kumar Mishra, learned Counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, and Mr. Ajay, learned Government Advocate No.12, appearing on behalf of the Staterespondents. With the help of this writ petition, made under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, in the form of Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner has sought for issuance of appropriate direction to the State-respondents to upgrade the Middle School Main, in the district of Gaya, to Secondary School and also for

Patna High Court CWJC No.15049 of 2015 (2) dt.01-04-2016 2/2 direction to complete the construction work of the road situated between Makhdumpur and Tekari via Pai Bigha and Main, which has been undertaken by Road Construction Department, Bihar, for upgradation.

It, however, now, transpires that the school, in question, has already been upgraded to secondary school and the construction of the road, in question, is also in progress. In view of the above, this writ petition is closed with direction to respondent No.4, namely, Principal Secretary, Department of Road Construction, Government of Bihar, Patna, to ensure expeditious completion of the construction of the road in question.
