====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-12-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

Petitioners apprehend arrest in registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 506/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, these petitioners threatened the informant on the point of pistol and demanded ransom of Rs. 50 lacs. It is next alleged that on 19.03.2022, father of petitioner No. 2 also threatened him and demanded ransom. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case and have been made accused due to village politics.

Learned counsel for the informant opposes the prayer for bail application submitting that there is serious and specific allegation of threatening and demanding ransom against both these petitioners.

Considering the specific accusation against the petitioners, prayer for bail of the petitioners is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be considered and disposed of on its own merit without prejudice. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) navya/- U T
