2. The petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Keoti P.S. Case No. 385 of 2024 dated 21.11.2024, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80, 103(1), 61(2), 238 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the sister of the informant was married to Chandan Mukhiya about five years ago and the in-laws were demanding dowry from the informant and his sister. On 17.11.2024 the accused Laxmi Mukhiya told the informant on his mobile phone that his sister
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43455 of 2025(2) dt.16-07-2025 2/3 has fled away last night from her matrimonial home. Thereafter, the informant tried to search her but could not find any trace. It is further alleged that on 18.11.2024 the informant got information through social media that a dead body of a female has been found by Keoti Police Station. Then the informant reached there and identified the dead body of his sister, who was brutally killed and thrown in Laila Chour. It is alleged that the petitioner and other accused have committed the murder of the sister of the informant and thrown the dead body.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case. It is submitted that petitioner nos. 1 and 3 are husband and wife, who are cousin father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased and petitioner no. 2 is mother-in-law of the deceased. It is submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioners, rather, the allegation against them is general and omnibus. It is also submitted that they are living separately with mess and business from the family of Chandan Mukhiya, who is the husband of the deceased. It is further submitted that the husband of the deceased is in judicial custody. Lastly, it has been submitted that they have no criminal antecedents.
5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43455 of 2025(2) dt.16-07-2025 3/3 the petitioners.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest / surrender of the petitioners within a period of six weeks from today, in connection with Keoti P.S. Case No. 385 of 2024, they shall be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Darbhanga, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of B.N.S.S..
