JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 07-02-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ghoghardiha P. S. Case No.192 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 304(B), 302, 201/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 28.12.2020, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

The informant alleges that his daughter was married to Sita-Ram Mallik about 07 months ago and after marriage, petitioner and his family members started demanding a motorcycle and a golden chain by way of dowry. It is further alleged that due to non-fulfilment of dowry demand, his daughter was killed on 22.12.2020 and body cremated without

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the elder brother-in-law of the deceased and is separate in mess and property. The deceased committed suicide on account of differences with her husband and the husband is in custody.

The learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, he is a person with clean antecedent, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and the husband is in custody, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J. M., 1st Class, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Ghoghardiha P. S. Case No.192 of 2020. The application stands allowed.
