JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-07-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per prosecution case, the petitioner was candidate of Mukhia, whereas his supporters were indulged in votes after polling hour. The informant further alleged that the petitioner held a meeting with his supporters, who pelted stones at the police party.
The petitioner submits that in fact supporters of other candidates tried to caste votes illegally.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest/surrender, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief
